Writing, Publications & Live Performance

A Road of My Own extends across page, stage and public space, forming a multi-year body of work exploring identity, belonging and conscious authorship.

Memoir (In Development)

The memoir at the heart of A Road of My Own traces Dan’s journey from Romani Traveller roots to award-winning playwright and screenwriter.
Blending personal history with reflective insight, the book examines identity as both inheritance and choice and explores how silence, expectation and resilience shape a life.

Publication anticipated 2027/28.

What if you could step off the path you were given… and begin to choose your own?
A reflective companion to the wider project, A Road of Your Own invites you to look more closely at your life, what shaped you, what was
inherited, and what might now be chosen differently.

Not as theory, but as something you can work with directly.

Stage Adaptation

A stage adaptation of A Road of My Own is currently in development in partnership with Cambridge Junction, forming part of the pathway toward a live theatre production at the Food Museum in 2028.
